Conversation StartersConversation Starters is an annual program at
the MCA, launched in 2017, which brings together audiences of all ages to take part in real-life conversations about questions that define our global situation. Using contemporary art as a starting point, this program attempts to dig deeper into difficult issues, value intergenerational exchange and work together to make sense of it all. 

This year’s identity was built around the theme Truth or Dare, with programs exploring the line between fact and fiction and the challenges of fake news. The typographic treatment uses Truth or Dare as a central graphic device, with letters split and displaced to reflect the fragmented way we encounter information, while a hero question invites audiences to engage and respond.
